How to Apply

At Standard Bilingual Higher Institute for Business Studies (SBHIBS), registration can be completed in person on campus or online through the official school website. Each applicant receives step-by-step guidance—either directly from our Admissions and Records Office or through a detailed brochure for online registration

1. Registration Options

A

Face-to-Face Registration

Applicants who wish to register in person should visit the Admissions and Records Office and submit the following documents:

  • – Photocopy of Birth Certificate
  • – Photocopy of GCE Advanced Level (A/L) or Technical A/L Certificate
  • – Photocopy of GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) or Technical O/L Certificate (for Preliminary Studies)
  • – HND Results (for Top-Up students only)
  • – Receipt of payment of 50,000 FCFA as registration charges

Online Registration

Students who prefer online registration can complete the process via the official SBHIBS website.
Upon commencement, applicants will receive a comprehensive step-by-step guide explaining how to complete the registration, upload required documents, and make payments securely

2. For Admitted Students

Once officially admitted into SBHIBS, students are required to complete the following steps:

  • – Collect the Admission Letter from the Admissions and Records Office.
  • – Pay the Registration Fee (amount varies by programme—see the Finance Office for details).
  • – Submit a Medical Certificate issued by a recognized health institution.
  • – Pay a Caution Fee of 10,000 FCFA, refundable at the end of your degree programme, provided no school property has been damaged

3. Requirements for Final-Year Students

Before graduation, final-year students must submit the following documents for official processing and transmission to the academic hierarchy:

  • – Certified copy of Birth Certificate
  • – Certified copy of GCE O/L (Grammar or Technical)
  • – Certified copy of GCE A/L or Baccalaureate
  • – Certified copy of HND Results (for Top-Up students)
  • – Signed and updated Transcript
  • – Four passport-size photographs with a red background
  • – Fee Clearance Certificate, confirming all tuition and related fees have been fully paid (attach all payment receipts)
